Dr. Pitsel's enthusiasm and sense of humour have made her a frequent speaker at conferences and conventions, where she has been known to keep people awake for as long as several minutes at a time.
Dr. Pitsel was awarded the Outstanding Instructor Award from the Faculty of Continuing Education at the University of Calgary, for five years in a row!
Sports Psychology
Pat works with athletes in the field of mental training for improved athletic performance, and has worked with:
- Canadian National Badminton Team
- Alberta Figure Skating Association
- Calgary Wranglers - Jr. A Hockey team
- High Performance and Semi-Pro athletes
She believes that any game where you cannot hit somebody is not much of a game, so she is working on developing full contact badminton.
